Quick Overview
The latest development in DoView Planning is the launch of DoView Boards. These consist of AI-built interactive, fully editable HTML single DoView Board files that allow you to see a visual helicopter and drill-down view of any organization, policy, strategy or other type of initiative. DoView Boards have been designed to answer the 20 key questions that anyone running, or having oversight of, an organization or initiative needs to have answered. Most of the pages at the links below have not yet been updated or the use of DoView Boards. If you want to get a quick picture of how DoView Boards can be used, look at the DoView Boards page and at the 20 key questions that DoView Boards answer.
The NZ Whole-of-Government DoView Board Collection page has however been updated for the use of DoView Boards.
NZ Government Whole-of-Government DoView Board Collection
[Updated] This currently provides the quickest introduction to how DoView Boards can be used in Government planning. A recent review of government performance reporting and public accountability was undertaken by the NZ Parliament, and the page at this link discusses how DoView Boards can be used for government planning, implementation and reporting and the discussion is generally applicable to any government.
Note, the pages below have not yet been updated for the use of DoView Boards.
Government - how DoView Planning can be used for each of the ten stages involved in all central or local Government Planning, Implementation and Reporting in any country.
NZ Government - The NZ government has recently completed a review of its performance reporting and accountability approach. A Whole-of-Government DoView Board Collection could be used to provide an accessible visual-based gateway to the suite of government documentation that is likey to result from the review.
Research - How researchers and research programs can use DoView Boards to explain what they are doing in their research, how it fits into the wider research domain and the outcomes their research is focused on achieving.
AI Systems Management- DoView Boards and its underpinning outcomes theory were developed as general planning and implementation approaches that apply to any type of organisation or initiative seeking to act in any way on the world. Now that AI agents are increasingly also acting on the world, there is the intriguing possibility that, because AI agents' actions on the world are analogous to human organisations acting on the world, DoView Boards and outcomes theory principles and approaches will also be useful for them.
